About the name "Bluedigitalpen"

Blue digital pen is a reference to my first Wacom Graphics tablet. A Steel-Blue colored Wacom Graphire 2. This Wacom tablet was purchased so that I could complete assignments from my Digital Illustration classes from time studying Illustration in college. Unable to part with it for sentimental reasons I have it in working order, though I've moved on to successive Wacom products. Currently I use an Intuos 5 Touch, with a desire to upgrade to the Cintiq Companion 2 in the near future.

Keeping that first tablet, and thus the namesake for this site serves as a reminder that no matter how far I've progressed, there's always something new to learn and something new to create.
